Nomenclature

What is the HOME module?
BizTRAQ comes with some default Modules and one of the is Home, which is just a dashboard.
In BizTRAQ, a Module is a top-level container that can contain a collection of Submodules, also known as Libraries, each with its own properties, security settings, custom fields, and workflows.
Out of the box, BizTRAQ comes with four predefined Modules – Assignments, Contacts and HIPAA (for the healthcare industries), which are built-in Modules.
The basic data entered into forms are called metadata – such as name, email, company, description, etc.
The list of Modules and Submodules that is displayed on the left of BizTRAQ application is the Menu. It comes with default modules which are: Home, Assignments, Contacts and HIPAA for Healthcare.
BizTRAQ version numbers indicate changes in the software product. As developers update and improve BizTRAQ, there will be a new version of it available for end users.

Settings

How to upload a custom logo
By default, BizTRAQ comes with its own logo. However, BizTRAQ allows you to upload your own custom logo.
Customers can use their own email servers for sending out emails rather than BizTRAQ’s email server. Users can enter their own email server settings and send out test emails.
In BizTRAQ, a part of the default modules, the user can create custom modules. This tutorial will guide users about creating and adding a custom icon to a module.
Here you will see how to create a Group where you can later add multiple users.

How to add an announcement
BizTRAQ comes with some default Modules and one of them is Home, which is a dashboard. On this dashboard, users can add and see announcements, Calendar, and Ticket Status

Favorite

How to mark as favorite and view favorites
Marking a library as a favorite will show up the library/submodule as favorite on BizTRAQ. When you mark a library/submodule as a favorite, it appears as a favorite in your account only. It doesn’t appear as a favorite for anyone else.

Assignments

How to create a Ticket
Assignments is a fully functional Tickets, Tasks and Reviews Module which can be used for both internal and external collaboration. Tickets, compared to Tasks, require more detailed information to be entered.
Tasks are faster and simpler to create and automatically assigned to the user creating it. Tasks are convenient when a user wishes to create numerous, say, things to do, quickly.
In addition to creating and assigning tickets, users can now assign tasks and send items/records for review and approval.

This tutorial shows how a user can create a custom library and delete it if necessary.
This manual shows all the available functionalities and usages in the “Properties” of a “Library”.
BizTRAQ allows two types of views. “Grid View” and “Summary View”. This tutorial shows the detailed process of “Grid View”.

Sharing External Content

How to share content externally
The customer can create an externally accessible web page containing PDF documents for non-authenticated users to access. For example, users with HR Forms or PDF forms that require completion or signatures can be made available for external users with built-in PDF writing and submission capabilities, with complete security and compliance.

Rules

Number Rule
BizTRAQ allows users to set conditions on fields to achieve certain desired goals. “Number Rule” is one of them. This rule only works on the “Number” fields.
This tutorial shows the creation, functionality and usage of the “String Rule”.
As the name suggests, “Math Rule” is there for all sorts of calculations. This can be used to sum, subtract, multiply, divide and other mathematical calculations.
